“We Got You”

We Got You is the promise HFF makes to the scholars we support, through multi-year scholarships, annual bursaries or emergency funds, that when they are supported by the family, we will never let them down. We Got You pillars include Scholarships, Emergency Grants, Community, Charitable Partners, and MOM (Mom’s Offering More)..

“Oprah Winfrey Leaders Scholars”

OWLS supports academically gifted students who demonstrate leadership in their communities. Beyond providing scholarship assistance, OWLS creates a network between the students and offers unique access to speakers and thought leaders in various fields. Scholarships are funded by the Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation, with collaboration from the Herrendorf Family Foundation.

“LIVE Summit”

Connecting Leaders Internationally through Virtual Engagement, by the Herrendorf Family Foundation, with support by the Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation was launched as a pilot project in January 2021 to bring forward inspiring youth leaders, from a selection of scholarship and bursary recipients supported by Herrendorf Family Foundation, to meet monthly with global mentors virtually.

“Global Leadership Conference”

Herrendorf Family Foundation hosted the first We Got You Leadership Conference in Chicago, IL, May 25-27, 2022. The leadership conference was the first of its kind, bringing together youth scholars supported by Herrendorf Family Foundation, its community partners, and contributing founder organizations.
